Why does Jack never argue logically? Why is Janet always late? Why does my sister-in-law always talk about religion? Whether we call it God's Will, Fate, Karma, or The Way, we will continue to know and meet people who will never change. We expect people to change; they don't. The only thing we can do is to practice surrendering to the reality that, no matter how we may want certain people to change, they will continue being who they are. The burden of that reality is on us.
